  34. This has been covered before, but here goes again.

  37. Antialiasing does NOT do anything to the background images... it only puts the
  38. edge highlights there to speed up edge detection.  the algorithm doesn't
  39. distinguish between objects and background... however the anti-aliasing
  40. routine DOES distinguish.  It only works on object edges.. not the background.

  43. Watch it closely sometime... it'll work slowly on the edges, then the
  44. background willbe cleared in one quick swipe.
